Process: Offset & Lettpress & Digital
Inks: 1/0 (Various Pantone Inks)
Paper: Various

Ben Moorad is Portland-based writer who was looking for a way to present his poetry performances, which included a visual installation as well as live readings. Stumptown Printers worked with Ben to design & manufacture a folder and collateral material (letterpress broadside & business card, offset poster, handbills & tickets) that would promote his events in 2003. The folder was versatile enough for the addition of press coverage clippings and a resume.

Project: Alberta Cooperative Grocery
Client: Alberta Cooperative Grocery

Process: Offset
Inks: 2/2 Brochures, 1/0 Sale tags (Pantone Inks)
Paper: Environment Desert Storm

Alberta Cooperative Grocery was looking for a local print shop to produce their store materials, so for the past few years we have printed sale tags & membership materials for their grocery. Their staff does a terrific job designing pieces using 1 or 2 spot colors, combined with 100% recycled Desert Storm paper stock. And we're always happy to put ink on paper for another cooperative! Visit them online at albertagrocery.coop or in person at 1500 NE Alberta St, Portland, OR.

Project: Leaning Pisa Custom Candy Container
Client: d.Sharp

Process: Offset
Inks: 1/1 (Pantone Ink)
Paper: Environment Natural White

D. Sharp is masterful at creating unique structures out of paper. While she usually constructs her pieces using vintage sheet music pages, in this case we reproduced a score on cover weight paper. The resulting design was a challenge for the steel rule die makers, but they pulled off even the tiny details. We delivered cut sheets, which the customer then assembled and added embellishments to. The top comes off to reveal a small container inside, a perfect place to store candy or other sweet surprises! See more of Denise Sharp's creations at www.studiodsharp.com
